YT SAM HAD A LEEBO with a ? Z 95?, A Wing?

This is my YT 2400, B Wing, something else that either Green Pilot A wing. The YT, B wing about 84 points. I need a cheep blocker, arc dodger that will give YT, B wing action economy synergy.

Here what have so far:

YT 2400 Leebo base: 50 total

Ability: choose 1 face up damage card out of 2 face up dam cards, when dealt 1 face up dam card.

TLT 6, Smuggler compartment 0

Hull upgrade 3, Black Splicer tools 1,

Elusiveness 2, Cluster Missiles 4,

Jan Ors 2

IBTISAM B Wing 28 base,

Recon Specialist 3

Elusiveness 2

Sensor Jammer 4

E2 Crew icon bar upgrade 1

12 points left over for a blocker, dodger like a Z 95, etc, or could go with just B wing, YT, give B wing a TLT 6, Tractor Beam, and YT with a better pilot like Dash.

So with the configuration the B wing has, it will take 5,6,7 attack dice to deal 4, 4.5 damage to get by the 3,3.5, 4 damage B wing will cancel on average.

If a 3rd ship gives Sam B wing a extra free action like Airen Mc Cracken 19 point Z 95, and if B wing at range 3, it will have 2 green dice, 1 focus, 1 evade, 1 Elusiveness negated hit, 1 Sam ability negated hit, 1 sensor Jammer negated hit for negating, 5,6,7 damage max, and 3.5, 4, 4.5 damage on average negated. If Airen Mc Cracken gives a free action it could maybe use that to maybe get another negated damage somehow. And Sam would have his ability plus a target lock, to possibly do 4 attack dice, 2 focus, 1 target lock, 1 Sam ability to change, reroll a attack die for a possible max of about 4, 4.5, 5 damage max, somehow.

Hello! First of all, Leebo cannot take the turret upgrade, since the YT-2400 is only able to carry missiles and cannons. The same goes for the b-wing, it can only take the cannon and torpedo secondary weapon.

While your b wing does seem very defensive, it also costs 40 points, and b wings are not meant to be defensive. They have a ton of health to compensate for this.

For your b-wing to throw 4 dice, you would need range one, and you would lose your extra defensiveness.

About your damage negated: you as the defender modifies the attackers dice first. Meaning that you might reroll a hit into another hit with elusiveness. And elusiveness only works once per shot. L

Your sensor jammer makes you flip a hit to a eyeball result BEFORE your enemy modifies his dice. This means that if your enemy has a focus, your sensor jammer does nothing.

Your evade is the only sure thing you have, because 1 green dice is very very fickle

Oh ok, thanks for telling me about the TLT. I thought any ship that could take a cannon, could take a TLT. Im new, still learning, only played about 7,8,9 games at most.

If I take the TL off the YT, and go with the Mangler Cannon, I save 2,3 points. If I take the Cluster missiles off, I would save, 3,4 more points.

That would give me about 7 more points. Then I could stick a tractor beam on Sam B wing for 1 point. That would put the YT at 40, and DEFENSIVE B wing at 39, leaving 21 points for 19 point Airen Mc Cracken Z 95, for extra action to either B wing, YT, as a focus, or evade, or target lock, etc, and a good blocker, dodger, and might force other player to kill it first, take away the free action economy, letting the B wing, YT live even longer, do more damage etc.

Or I could go with a 19 point, green pilot A wing, with Chardan Refit, Test Pilot, Autothrusters 2, Elusiveness 2, Wired 1, or a 17 point A wing with Chardan Refit, Test Pilot, Autothrusters 2, Outmaneuver, or PTL for 3.

Or I could go with 22 point T 70 X wing

Or could go with Captain Rex (but would have to buy Rex, Sabine Captured tie, etc, as I only have the A Wings, T 70 X wings, B Wings, YT, Z 95.

So what do you recommend for the 3rd Ship at 17 to 23 points?

Also what Cannon would you go with, knowing the 7 point HLC is too costly?

Hmm. Well It COULD work, but you are lacking a key upgrade on Leebo. The 'outrider' Title lets you use a cannon as if it was a turret (in 360 degrees).
That means that you can use a mangler cannon in range 1-3 like a turret, and that is why HLC is great on the YT-2400, because you get a HLC as a 'turret' so to speak.

But if you keep the setup you have, I would suggest using the last points on a green squadron pilot with:

It is a good blocker that can survive on its own, and also get places with boost + focus/evade/whatever. It is fast enough to chase down a fleeing ship if nessecary, and if facing turrets it is very defensive.

as far as Bwings go...Keyan is hands down the best one to fly, outfit it like this. with this setup, strip tokens with Keyan's attack, use jan ors on the focus token you get from rage, to get an evade for defense since you have stress to use as an offensive focus. then Leebo can push crits through with mangler making a hit to crit and ezra making a focus to crit! take Target locks and focus for your push actions unless you need to barrel roll. PS1 A wing blocker to fill.
