396/400

Objectives: Planetary ion cannon, Advanced gunnery, superior position

Gladiator 1- OE, engine techs, APTs, Demolisher

Arquitens light cruiser- admiral Screed, captain Needa, TCR

Arquitens light cruiser- TCR

Raider 1- OE, APTs x3

So simple fleet based on the old Clonisher fleets but upgraded with Arquitens to have a long range threat.

Without at least a few tie fighters to pin the enemy squads so that your raiders can go to work, bomber fleets will delete at least one of those ships per round, most likely starting with Demo

Maybe cut one raider for a token fighter screen

The list archetype cues off its activation advantages, and at some point, just having more combat ships doesn't help as much as just having the activations. So I'd agree with others that dropping a Raider for a Gozanti and at least a handful of Ties is essential. It might be more helpful to drop two raiders for 2-3 Gozanti and some kind of squadron force. I'm not at all sure what that could be, but you could easily lifeboat your commander on one and either activate via Relay or possibly the Arq title that extends your activation range. I do like the idea of using Arqs for damage and think it can fit with the list. They are still reasonably difficult lists to fly.

Actually, and this is just a random thought looking at this list, one wonders if one could create a list of Arqs + heavy squads and run it similar to the Crackenator list with Corvettes. That might sync better with Arqs.

I would actually drop an Arq. The more you play with Arq's, the more you see they don't do much. You never see Neb's without Yavaris or Salvation because 3/4 reds is only 3-4 dmg on average. One Arq is ok, any more without Vader to improve the reds and, ideally, a way to lock down brace and evades(your TRC is worthless against evades) is bad. You also need so, so much more bid, that Demolisher needs to go first.
