So that means we have been waiting for a known, advertised product for 1 year tomorrow. That really sucks.

This is the second time this has happened. The first was with
Ghosts of Dathomir
; however, with
Ghosts
, at least it was already
Shipping Now
when it reached its anniversary
.
Has anyone every asked the developers about their lack of communication on these things when they appear on Order 66 or other podcasts? Surely they must know when their landed books will be released. It would go a long way with fans to keep them/us informed.

I believe the questions are kept to just about the current book or topic and no other questions... So it would need to be worded right to have it be asked for us.
I am probably mistaken since I've never paid attention to the o66 podcasts but I think that's how it goes.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY (silly article)
I put this in Absol's thread but my FLGS looked up FO on their distributors website and it's saying a release date of 31 Mar.
Which is, of course, the Amazon Effect. If it's true, the actual release date would be March 29, and we should know by Wednesday the 14th.
I'm by no means saying it's likely, however. Only that it's technically possible.

I whole-heartedly agree. What did my poor numbers ever do to them
...?
So should we just crowd source what we think this book looks like since it’s turned into half-life 3? I would be willing to tackle the races lol.

Lol. I do think we should do a community project source book of some kind, but probably something that's at least a little less likely to get completely overwritten.

Half-Life 3 is on the boat?

Ultimately this book will need to be excluded from calculations even if we never know why.
The books have gotten on Guts' boat.
It'll be decades before they release.

That is correct...questions are limited to the book being discussed, and are forwarded to FFG in advance to be vetted and, where necessary, answers researched.
In the current thread asking for questions on DoR, many have requested they ask Tim Huckleberry about the delays. Ultimately, Phil has agreed to discuss with Chris and Dave whether or not to forward the question to FFG.
If I may skip franchises for a moment, just remember Admiral Kirk’s response to Saavik when she inquires as to whether or not she might ask him how he beat the no-win Kobayashi Maru scenario: “You may ask ,” followed by silence.
So... does anyone else feel kinda mocked by the title of the newest Legion news article?

“Now they’re just trolling us” was my first thought.
... well that’s a new way to make friends and influence people!!!

We now have confirmation that an Engineer killed an FFG executives family.

WOW. That is SO rude!!! Way to rub acid in our wounded hearts ffg. And not even a shipping now for us to go with it. That would have been acceptable at least. He'll there would have been rejoicing if that was the case.
Only just saw the offending article...
(Nice auto correct... I think I'll leave it.)
Edited by jayc007They are mocking this product line because they know they can get away with anything. And people on here will defend them to the end as the victims and not at any fault. We should graciously wait for the day they deem it good to gift us these products. No complaining, no tough questions, no negativity allowed to be aimed at FFG.
In order to distract myself from the (un)release debacle, I got to thinking about Mental Tools. Would it let you build a space station with your bare hands (or perhaps just your MIND)? I'm guessing it would be unlikely for FO to include an exception for a talent from another line, so... most likely?
I can't really decide if that would be stupid, awesome or both.

Lol, sure. Because rather than make more money, they want to withold products from paying customers for the lulz.
I don’t think FFG is handling these delays properly, but I really, really doubt they don’t care about them either. Delayed releases cost them money. They also have a tendency to snowball, so they create problems for future, not yet delayed, releases as well. The communication (or rather, lack thereof) sucks, absolutely. And we are certainly justified in being upset and/or angry about that. But these delays don’t happen because FFG doesn’t care about the RPG line. That’d just be stupid. They happen because somewhere down the line something went wrong and it couldn’t be fixed.
