I ain't gettin' on no starship, foo!

By Desslok, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG

Yippie! I had enough points to max out my Inventive Creation and just crunched the numbers. I'm about two games away from getting my Ace: Rigger tree. You know what that means, right?

Now I just need the bad guys to lock me in an abandoned garage and/or barn and I'm set!

All while the party leader looks on with a big ol' cigar and grinningly says, "I love it when a plan comes together!" Bonus points if he's in some sort of disguise at the time.

Yeah, and someone crazy enough to fly your creation...

And of course you need the Charmer to round out the four.

So the A-Team as an EotE party with Obligations, built using AoR careers and specs?

That sounds like a killer idea for a one-shot and/or con module...

So what's the difficulty to "fly" a falling tank by firing the cannon sideways? 8D

Not all that difficult, but the black dice from the maneuverability penalty is a real *****.

Perhaps less "flying" and more "falling with some passing semblance of style?"

You know why they are called repulsor tanks, right? :D
Flying it is, just build me a bigger repulsor!

(Actually we talked about an attachment for vehicles similar to the drop suit or grav shuts to safely drop tanks from orbit just today. 1 HP seems appropriate if it is a one-time use with independent energy source which needs to be refilled after each use.)

Saaaay, nice repulsor lift you got there...be a shame if something happened to it... :D

Need one of these...

Tanks are cheap and pilots have grav chutes ;-)
Though I wonder if using a tractor beam would be the better way to "drop" the tank. Two ranks of sharpshooter and you get a heavy tractor it to long range, this should be enough for an orbital drop *g*

Desslok, you are a gem.

In 1ABY, a crack commando unit was sent to the spice mines of Kessel by the ISB for a crime they didn't commit. These beings promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Outer Rim Territories. Today, still wanted by the Empire, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them....maybe you can hire Team Aurek. "

I am so working on this today.

Blah. Well, that didn't work.

The search continues, mama.

The sharing function on the starwars.com crawl creator isn't functioning. But here's a screen shot of it...

You need stats for Agent Decker.

First attempt, need species

Hannibal: Commander (Tactician, Strategist) B3 A2 I4 C4 P2 W2

Face: Smuggler (Charmer, Quartermaster) B2 A2 I3 C4 P4 W3

Murdock: Ace (Pilot, Hotshot) B2 A4 I4 C2 P3 W3

BA: Hired Gun (Heavy, Outlaw Tech, Driver) B4 A2 I3 C2 P4 W2

BA is the classical wookie. Brawns and Tech.

Murdok is a Duros.

Face is a Farleen

Hannibal is a Chiss.

Though Mordok might fit with Hotshot, Rigger or Modder better. He is the guy who makes anything fly, so maybe even Modder/Hotshot for the technician ability to build out of anything an airplane. BA seems like an Outlaw tech first, Heavy or Marauder and driver second. It does fit the team as well better to have two guys with technician signature abilities. Lastly, you might argue that Hannibal is a gambler first and Tactician/Strategist second. He really, really likes those high stake wagers in his plans, and when a plan comes together, it really pays off huge. :D

Nah. Face is a Zeltron .

Or a Faleen.

TBH, I never really 'got' Zeltrons.
