Best Star Wars Audio Book

By Tiberius the Killer, in Star Wars: Armada Off-Topic

I have an audible credit to burn, and I would love to spend it in the Star Wars universe. However, I'm not sure what book is worth it. Sadly I think all the X-wing novels are abridged on audible, and only like 3 hours long.

Does anyone know a good star wars book on audible?

The Battlefront book is weirdly hands-down the best Star Wars novel in any form.

Is that Battlefront: Twilight company ?

Indeed it is.

Man, whatever you chose, don't go with the audio book of Lost Stars. The reader puts on like a 12 year-old voice the entire reading. I spent an audible credit on it and couldn't get past a few chapters.

I highly recommend listening to a sample before picking anything. A great book can be ruined by a bad reader.

I agree the Battlefront book is great. I have listened to the majority of the new books and Twilight Company is hands down my favorite of the bunch so far.

While this book was great and the clone trooper cameo was legit, I'd say that lords of the sith or catalyst are the two best star wars books I've read. Tarkin is up there. that's new cannon. however, when including legends, outbound flight should have a halo around it and should be worshiped as holy writ.

Any narrated by Marc Thompson. His Thrawn Trilogy particularly is exceptional!

Thompson's Thrawn is fantastic and his Palleon is the only one I will ever accept. The man has an amazing reading voice, I mean for goodness sake he reads a Wookie with a speech impediment

I was wondering how the audio Thrawn trilogy is, glad to hear its good! Even thought it's no longer canon, I have only heard great things. I may have to check out Tarkin too, sounds pretty interesting.
