So I don't have the Dunwich Legacy yet, but hopefully will soon.

I get there are 11 stories in the Dunwich core box and there will be 6 Mythos packs. I was wondering if there is a recommended order for playing/inserting the Mythos packs?

Now I know only one mythos pack was released so far but I am trying to get my head around the intent of the packs.

There are only two stories in Dunwich Legacy. The box contains the campaign guide, so you'll know the order of the mythos packs in order to continue the story (Miskatonic Museum, Essex Country Express, and so on).

I think you misread the campaign log at the end of the Dunwich campaign guide, because there are only 8 scenarios in the Dunwich campaign (2 in the box, 1 in each pack). Only the names in rectangular boxes are scenarios; the ones in oval boxes are interludes. The order is simple: the Mythos pack scenarios are meant to be played in the order they're released (and each one has the number on it).
