Rey's help?

I have Rey setup as this:

finn,engine upgrade,new title,expertise,Kanan , this works great 62pts. I had Nora as the second ship, and she did fine just wondering what else could I run. I thought of a lothel rebel in Vx-100 with fire control and chopper and Hera??? What y'all think??

As a 3 faction mainly meta ships player (palp defenders, fen teroch assaj, dengaroo, etc) I can tell you that the most efficent rey build I've seen and played is much more simple.
Ex´pert handling is just too situational and it leaves you stressed and limited because next turn you cant Sloop+action, you kanan the stress you already had and gain another stress for turning arround with title = no action, so ,stress mechanics are not a good synergy with the strongest pick which is KANAN.

engine upgrade is also not needed on rey at all with the setup I'm about to give you because his wingman will get the attention 100% of the time.

this leaves rey at 55 points, which give you room for either a full loaded Norra (tailgunner/kyle, PtL, r2d2, vectored or EI). BBut, I dont like norra at all, I've had more succes using what u already suspected to be a good wingman (its the best actually on this meta)

45 points of token stripping , truck hitting, pain

came up 5th on the national tournament on my country with this list, I've flown this rey setup+norra and +lothal many many times and lothal is superior 80% of the time, making your opponent focus it and leave rey full hp for endgame, going through defender tokens with gunner, blocking, its reys perfect wingman.

gunner is what it makes it so good as a wingman so If you want to add something like burnout slam to the falcon (which is so good) You could drop VI for adaptability/trick shot and add smuggling comp + burnout slam

Moving 12 Across the board on turn 1 sometimes is killer. arcdodging, etc.

as far as p´laystyle goes, I first started placing both ships far from each other, trying to force my opponents to go after ghost first. Well , thats an error, the ghost having 0 agility and all, will get focus fired 99% of your matches, so having rey fly very very far from him is not good at all, because your starting shots with her will be range 2-3. On the other hand if you fly them together, oponnents will still focus ghost and rey will have almost permanent range 1 shots.
I've lost 1 game out something like 20-25 games that I've been playing with this list (all matches versus meta lists)

I like it,i haven't flown rey to much about 7 times with what I had, worked good, but she was the last ship. Boosting in to range one after swoop was nice. Expertise is where you can change all focus to hits. Thanks for the input. I'll have to try this.

I play my Rey exactly as you do except I don't use Engine Upgrade. I am still searching for a meta-killing partner for her, but I have not found one yet. As far as I can tell from important tournament results, no one else has either. The Miranda K-wing could be an option for you. I am intrigued by the Ghost as an option, so I might try Mushmushie's suggestion.

i have also ran Rey with tycho, Miranda, Wes Jansen and Biggs with zeb in sabines tie. I like Nora best
