Since resistance Han Solo we now 'know' that starting position is an indication of hyperspace skills/capabilities. I remember from the WEG game that astromech droids calculate hyperspace routes. So...why not have one that grants PS 12 in the setup phase?
New Astromechs

Well, and K-2SO.
Would you care to explain what makes you think K-2SO is an astromech?

This.
The best Imperial option for a fighter with an astromech slot is a V-wing. Maybe they could do a title with something like this: "You may equip 1 non-unique upgrade with the [Astromech] or [Salvaged Astromech] upgrade icon."

K2 is a security droid, not an astromech (unless there's something I missed!)

Not Chopper, but a brother.
I made this with both the Y-wing and X-wing in mind, but it would work with E-wing and the ARC-170 too I suppose.
Can't see the card.

- 1 hard turn
-gives evade
-allows k-turns at various speeds
-extra agility when w/n range of another Astro mech (twins?)
-gives focus when ______ is done
-reduces attack dice of attacker
-reduces over all point cost
-allows more accurate attack dice
-allows slam
R3 gives us an evade....... yay!...

Not in the astromech slot.

Maybe he should also fit a salvaged astromech slot? Would be the first card that can be used as different upgrades...

A double sided astromech salvage-mech card? Yes please!

I'm glad we have you here to clear these things up.
It doesn't change the fact that I find it amusing, nor adequately challenges the conceptual argument my post was making. Honestly, I figured referring to droids as "he" was a way to humanize them for other people. The real question is why is it binary for a class of droids with no definable traits? I can understand if She Threepio has a female-sounding voice program, you'd refer to the droid as "she" even though it is no more female than C-3PO was male. It's why Siri was given a female name and the computer from 2001: A Space Odyssey was named HAL.
