Listened to a few minutes.

Just a suggestion: every regular member of future shows should have the same microphone, in the same relative place (head-mounted sets are great for this) and set to the same sound quality settings. Also, everyone should have an actual dedicated microphone. Between the background fans and aircon it sounded like there was a lightsaber duel occurring in the background.

I'll try listening to more later, but it would be nice if you guys released an audio podcast as well.

These are good pointers, but honestly I didn't have great problems with the sound quality (outside the first few minutes) , and for whats basically a few blokes chatting, it doesn't necessarily need any individual investment.

Avoiding echo-y rooms would be the main improvement, but that might be possible.

Typing without muting is annoying too.

But yeah, audio podcast would be great.

We felt pretty good about it for a first try. We liked the format with having people in the chat room making comments. It had the 'feel' that we were after.

That's the plan. We will post a link once we have it up.

We will also put some effort in to improving the audio quality as we go.

My only thoughts are that we need more dynanism between hosts. Biggs was solo talking for ages on his regiomal performance. Would have been better for someone to act as an interviewer in some way. Not that I dodnt enjoy Biggs talking, just could be better.

Keep it up, i can see this only getting better as you get to know each other.

One thing that might help is If you had things like Lists typed up and simply displayed on screen rather than the person reading it all to the audience. That would allow you to talk about what you are trying to accomplish with your list while people read the details. If you stick to the video format, there is a lot of potential to display information instead of recite it.

Not that I don't enjoy bobbing heads talking, but showing pictures/charts/lists would be a big upgrade in my opinion.

Really liked when smitty switched to his excel screen so I could look at the data while he talked about it.

That's a great suggestion and something we can definitely implement in the future.
