4th edition was a base set re release minus the multilands and vastly increased the value of mulitlands and revised boxes as soon as it was revealed. If FFG doesn't reprint certain awakenings cards its going to be an insane boost in value for the non reprinted cards.

Not if those cards get power-creeped out. Who knows what the meta will look like 2018.

Mid day certain characters are safe, but some will likely not see another version for some time - Jango, Grievous, etc.

I'm a Quality Engineer and I have some experience in manufacturing quality products as well as products with quality issues. I've worked the agriculture, automotive, and aircraft industries. Sadly, I have not worked in the gaming industry so there could be issues I don't understand. However, I know that I may not have all the information I need to understand or solve the problem.

FFG gave you a quality product. They just didn't make enough. For all we know they may have filled all the orders they took prior to going to production and the June reprint is an attempt to fulfill the orders they've received since. Do we know if they failed to fulfill any of the orders they accepted? If they did that would be a quality problem.

The restaurant analogy, just a bad one. By all means complain about the shortage for it surely exist. Just don't speak of it as if the solution is easy when you don't even know all the details of the problem. It's important people understand the limitations of their knowledge.

It didn't say it would replace it in legality of tournaments just on store shelves.
