In my experience Murne can be built down two paths - she can be more on the support side of things (leading towards Waylay) or, strangely enough, a straight-up tank/damage dealer (leading towards Lead from the Front/Solidarity). Some cards, like Rebel Propaganda, work pretty well for both builds.
As far as allies go, you don't need one to make Murne effective but if you do get one then there's some really good synergy there. Company of Heroes is pretty straightforward, and best of all at 1XP you can wait to buy it until you get an ally. But the real key is in Waylay, where you can actually use both abilities printed on the card at the same time. So on Murne's turn she uses false orders to get an imperial to attack, then she spends a strain to get one of the other heroes to attack, and then she spends another strain to get the ally to attack. So you've now done three attacks and you've still only used one of your two actions for the turn. You've also done all this without having to spend credits buying Murne a gun! Now it can sometimes take a bit of positioning to pull this off, but I find that 4 times out of 5 you can usually make something happen.
Either way though, I find she's a fun hero to play that's a little bit different from the standard run and gun.
Edited by ManateeXTypical Build:
Double Agent - Waylay - Company of Heroes - Professional Aide - Rebel Propaganda
If you don't have an ally, you can get Sonic Bellow or Solidarity instead of Company of Heroes and one of the 2 xp skills.
A hybrid build would look something like:
Waylay - Lead from the Front - Double Agent/Solidarity - Sonic Bellow/Company
Edited by DeadwolfIt just came up in the "Murne Arms" thread, but there's a Play by Forum on BGG where Murne had Lead From the Front and a Hand Cannon (later a disruptor pistol w/ tactical display). She was putting out some serious damage.
She's a surprisingly versatile character if you're willing to ignore False Orders until it's strategically necessary.
If you want to use her for an Ally build I would do it as ManateeX suggested. Pick up some more support based abilities first like Rebel Propaganda or Waylay, and when you pick up an ally you want to use you can grab Company of Heroes.

Thank you all!
Is there any particular ally that works well with murne?
anyway she seems pretty good without ally too.

Not really, I'd say just go with whatever ally you think is the most fun (although, even with Murne, the high-cost ones like Han and Chewie can give the imperial player a lot of extra threat in the early missions that you might not be able to clear off the board).
I guess the only Murne-specific consideration would be that it might be a bit harder to make waylay work with melee allies like the wookie warriors or Obi-Wan.
Yeah, Waylay works better with ranged allies. Leia and Lando first come to mind (since you will also likely choose unique allies). Hera will also be very good once she comes out.
Edited by DeadwolfI've played her with Solidarity and Lead From The Front with Gideon Masterstroking her, it was pretty nuts. I've also played her Company of Heroes and Waylay with her support cards where she never attacks at all and it's also pretty nuts for certain values of having Jedi Luke or not. I've used Waylay in Bespin with Lando and he's a pretty good Waylay target too.
Company of Heroes is pretty good even if it's just to put C3-P0 on the board for free to give some evades and a focus or two and soak up a couple shots meant for the heroes. Waylay though is pretty meh without a decent ally and it can be tricky to use to it's full potential sometimes. Plus 3 strain, although if you can get a bionic arm and bacta pump on her, lol.
Edited by Union(Lead From the Front only works during Murne's activation, so the combination should not be more powerful than any other hero with a good weapon is with Gideon.)
Does Lead from the Front apply to the ally/hero attacking during false orders as well, or only the Imperial figure used?
I would say Lead From the Front only applies while she is attacking or using False Orders during her activation. Murne isn't attacking when she uses Waylay. The hero/ally is interrupting to perform an attack.
But I see how the wording could be interpreted differently.

Except Gideon can move or rest her via Solidarity without having to give up an attack. She would get to the other side of the board without ever having spent a move action.
I think I agree. It says when using false orders, and waylay uses the phrase "after false orders resolves"
