Newbie silly questions (Corruption, targets of attacks etc)

By AshmaDaeva, in Warhammer Invasion Rules Questions

Hey everyone!

I just wanted to post some questions on which I feel the lack of the FAQ.

1 - Can I attack an already burning zone?

2- I enter the battlefield phase, declare the zone I'm attacking, I declare my attackers, he declares his blockers. so far so good. Now, before damage is assigned, what happens if I corrupt one of his blocking units? Does he assign damage? Or is removed from combat? And the other way round too, as if my opponent corrupted a unit of mine after i declared it as an attacker.

3- My oponent plays a Judgment of Verena. Can i respond to it with a Will of the Electors, in order to make him take punishment from his JoV too?

Cheers!

Ashma

1 . Yes, you can attack an already burning zone

2. Corruption only affects whether they can be declared as attackers or defenders. Since they have already been declared , the corruption would not have an effect.

3. You can use your Will of Electors in response. Your Will of Electors , since played last , will resolve first, and if you move all his developments out , he will be punished.

Just to clarify, the units will still become corrupt but it won't matter for purposes of attacking/defending since they were already declared. You will need to corrupt a unit before declaration so that you limit your opp. choices.

Thanks all for your prompt responses!

Let's see how it plays out :D
