Ah, I thought the cards in the email text were the only ones you were changing, my bad. Fixed in the poll now.

Hey, Rakaydos, I don't play CCL, due to my scedule, but I like to check on the cards. Love the police cruiser, I know where that's from and it left a big smile on my face

Police cruiser was actually created by someone else- I revised it to fit with a cheaper, less maneuverable N1 with native boost instead of native barrel roll.

The Police Cruiser is in the original submission too. Don't forget to check it out.

Voted!

(although maybe the individual cards would be better if voted separately)

Yeah, its a tricky thing. I went with whole sets this time because I was worried about card interactions. For example if we approved a royal naboo title with decreased functionality, and then also a general price increase on the pilots, we'd have an overpriced ship on our hands. I'm open to suggestions for a better way to do this, but I think single card voting is too unreliable to use.

Honestly I think it's a damned-if-you-do, damned-if-you-don't situation. There's no one solution that fixes every problem with the voting process so it's mostly got to be a case of being aware of the deficiencies of the process and trying to mitigate them as much as possible. In this case, it's probably mostly on the guys doing the revisions to feed off each others ideas to some extent and use what works to try and make the best expansion possible.

I am thinking of using a mixed system, where I split the cards of the expansion into groups based on how directly they interact.

I might start grouping ship-specific cards with the ship, and doing single card revisions for everything else. For example, for the N-1, this would put the titles, dial and the pilots together, but leave the astromech apart. Same for the RV aces pack. titles, other fixes and pilots together, and more general upgrades such as the astromechs separate.

Yes, I believe that would be the best solution.

Good; I'll be trying this with the next revision phase.

Just to give everyone a heads-up, I'll be closing the revision poll after 11:59pm, March 5.

Imperial expansion submission will start after that. The deadline will be on or around March 20. Plan accordingly!

Voting is now closed! These are the new cards for each expansion pack:

N-1

Rogue Veterans

The submission period for Imperial Expansions unofficially starts now. I'll be making an announcement post to that end soon.

So. When can we send our Imp ships in?

Hmmm... the N-1 with boost won. And the proposed changes for the Queen. :(

I'm not sure how the format of the pool could give a diferent result (reviewed cards have more highlight that the old ones, which are buried behind a link).

Can I propose a different format? For instance, showing the old card side-by-side with the new one and asking which one the voter prefers. Or just showing the old card and the suggestions for change (like cost, text, abilities, etc.)

PS: my HDD fried yesterday, with 20 years of content. It is possible that you won't see more custom material made by me.

I'm going to sound stupid, but what's an HDD?

Hard Drive Disk.

Anyways, it's suddenly occurring to me just how good Adv. Etheric Rudder is for T-70s. PS9 Poe with Juke, R2-D2, Pattern Analyzer, AER, and Black One title is a target lock shucking, regenerating, hard hitting, dodgy little PS9 Ace and i love him. I can't wait to see what i can do with all of this stuff.

The side-by-side format sounds good. I'll try to do that this next time around.

Sorry to hear about the HDD! You do such excellent work, especially in terms of card art. Your contributions will be sorely missed if this is the case!
