Spit balling here but Resistance Han ability, PS9, in an Awing that can boost using the 2 speed template. . .

Wow, so the "Double A" is even flown by Han Solo?
So it's the Force Awakens' of star fighters: basically exactly what we've already seen with a bit more visual flair and stuffed full of old Harrison Ford.
Ok, so... I'm taking a lot of you haven't read Bloodlines yet. This short is VERY closely linked to that. Greer is a retired racer and personal pilot for Leia in that book, who briefly was part of Han Solo's race team. It's what he did post-retirement from the Alliance military. So those complaining about Han Solo suddenly appearing in the A-Wing... yeah... This short isn't the origins of that particular line. It's not old EU where Han did... what did he do after retiring in old EU anyway? Freelance freedom fighter?
The Double-A... sounds interesting... but these racers are unarmed so it's always possible this double-A isn't exactly an interceptor in design any more... unarmed recon converted to racer? Not military at all? Meh... I don't care. I'm not ready to rip EP8 based on a single line in a short story. I'm not here to judge.
hehehe Han with his pilot ability in an A-Wing would be fun! ![]()
The real reason the A-wing doesn't have a barrel roll action. It doesn't turn out well for anyone involved.
Although it would make a fun EPT for epic games...
Preemptive response: Yes I know it is more of an aileron, but since that is what most people think a barrel roll is (thank you Peppy), my point stands.

He was more more less inofficial Bodyguard and "chauffeur" of Leia.

Yeah... This thread just ruined the old EU Han Solo for me. I never really thought about it before. So, smuggler and scoundrel, marries a princess/senator, and... does nothing except drive around with his pal in rusty bucket of a vehicle and never really pulls his own weight in finances. Instead he does favors and errands for the real breadwinner of the family. Isn't even a very good stay at home father.
Thanks a lot guys.
(FYI - tongue in cheek here - don't anybody get too insulted!)

Right after endor, basically the same as he was on hoth and at endor. A reserve officer doing odd jobs for the rebellion/republic.
After courescant was taken, he was made a General in charge of a fleet assigned to fight and bring down the imperial warlord Zinj. A task he hated because it made him have to take responsibility for lots of people and obey rules, regs, etc.
After he beat Zinj and married Leia, he basically became the stay at home dad. With the occasional joyride around doing odd jobs for luke and leia.
Legends Han would have loved to go around flying an Awing in big races.
Edited by mithril2098I'd have to take some time to build a comprehensive list, but I'm pretty sure most vectors to introduce Han into Legends stories was
And more rarely, the occasional
