Corellian Conflict Manager 7.0 (Google SpreadSheet)

By Thraug, in Star Wars: Armada

None of the current wave is in the spreadsheet, but I'm still working on it and had hoped to get it done by this holiday but I ran into some other projects that needed to be completed first, but it will be done soon.

I'm also hoping FFG will soon release more about the next wave so I can add the rest of wave 8.

Your work is much appreciated. I know I for one will be launching a new CC campaign when the new wave hits. Your spreadsheet is always extremely useful.

First post on these forums but I just wanted to say a big thank you to Thraug for the work you've put into this spreadsheet. Saved me creating my own and is making playing our first CC campaign a breeze. Looking forward to the updated version as I lack the know-how to add my Hammerheads.

I was hoping more (all) wave 7 cards would be revealed with the latest preview, but no go, so ill just add whats known now. At least the MC75s will be in there.

Coming "soon".

New wave, new campaigns! Anything the community can do to help @Thraug ?

Yes!! I have been working on it since Wave 7 spoilers were fully released . It's going well, albeit slower than I had hope with my limited time lately. It's coming along! Sorry for the delay.

You rock!

I finally got a solid day's work on this yesterday, and completed the majority of the remaining work. All of wave 6 and 7 is added and most of the ship building validation is done. A couple more of these days is all I need to complete it. Ship building validation is a beast within this realm (spreadsheet) and is something that shouldn't have been attempted, but it's 95% done so I'm not turning back now. :P

Bump!

To the top with you!

I have't had time to work on since my last post and some of spare time is prepping for Canadian Regionals (with wave 7), but I plan working on it Sunday before Superbowl.
I got to play Armada for the 1st time in 3 months a few days ago. Ooooooh, I'm rusty!

You're doing awesome work so don't feel pressure to get it done. Just please tell me you aren't backing the Patriots in the SB!

Anything I can do to help? I know the data validation is a beast on this sheet.

No, thank you for offering though. Now that my Regionals is over I can focus on completing this. I'll finally be able to spend my free time getting back to this, starting tonight.

First time I've tried it.

Very handy.

Good work.

@Thraug any news on the w6+7 update?

(if an update is far away, I can add the bits we need)

I'm HOPING to release it this weekend! The past few months have been very busy and my time spent on this (or anything Armada) was limited. This week I think I have the time to complete it.
Adding the new data is semi-trivial, it's implementing the ship builder validation (within a spreadsheet context) that is time consuming (tua, boarding trooper|engineers, Phoenix title, etc.. ).

I'm close!

Yeah, I just added the Cymoon and a few upgrades as a test, but once you get a bit more complicated it takes time.

Keep up the good work!

I did a lot of work on this last week and I'm close to releasing the new version. Doing some internal testing and final tweaks. So far so good.

I'm doing everything I can to make it easier to add new content and to allow the disabling of ship building validation for those that do not want it or don't know JavaScript (& GoogleScript), which is needed when adding validation for new content beyond what we have now. This should be a light load week for me so I should be able to work on it most evenings this week.

Not to steal Thraug's thunder or anything, but I went ahead and updated it a bit myself since we're running a CC and were running into issues with the upgrade selection. I 100% ripped off the v3.5, so if @Thraug doesn't want me to share it, I'll pull it down, but figured it might help those running a campaign while we wait for his.

I implemented all of the new ships and upgrades, along with a tester for duplicates throughout the fleets as well as a check to ensure you only have 1 modification. Duplicates will show up as Red text, and multiple modifications will turn the ship itself red. I also went through and rearranged everything so it would be much more convienent for future updates.

Two things that aren't working quite right yet are the dual slot upgrades and the new unique-non-named things, though now that I'm stating that, I might just put a quick cell to verify the latter the same way as the Modifications... Anyways, thanks a ton Thraug for all the work you've done with this!

Cool, sounds like yours is close to complete. I'm unable to look at it from here but I will later. We can compare our versions once I'm done with mine and whichever is best should be the "official" version so as not to confuse anyone, or, maybe we can merge the best of both to have one BESTEST version?

I have both "Multi-Icon Upgrade" (FFG's label for these) upgrades working and also the non-unique titles. The remaining issues, off the top of my head, are controlling/verifying Minister Tua and Phoenix Home upgrades. I wrote a mini upgrade event handler framework that allows new content to be added without too much trouble and I think most of the cell reference problems when adding new rows/columns have been resolved.

I'm looking forward to checking yours out. I'm busy tonight but can tomorrow.

- Phoenix Home title doesn't enable the second officer slot

- Rebel squadrons are showing Imperials after the first row

Thanks. I'll fix that up tomorrow. Lemme know if you come across anything else, I stumbled across a few errors after I posted it as well and will get them fixed.

I was just able to copy the rebel squadrons down. Seemed to work fine.

The Cost column only seemed to work on the top row or two in the rebels. I copied those cells down, worked fine.

Selecting Gozanti, did not turn Fleet Support upgrades Green, The Rebels GR75 did.

I only played around with fleet building in the Player FleetSheet tabs and after a quick look I came across these issues, of the ones I remember at midnight ( ) :

  • Weapons Team list contains OffensiveRetro data
  • At least 1 Gonzanti isn't showing correct upgrade slots
  • Various random numbers in cells
  • No 2nd Turbolaser slot for Empire (Cymoon has 2)
  • Many ships do not have many of their upgrades turned on when the ship is selected
  • Darth Vader Offensive/Weapon upgrade had cost of '*'?
  • Chimaera title not enabling Fleet Command cell
  • Title and Officer upgrades can be selected for a row without a ship selected
  • Rebel fleet sheets don't have a 'Mods' column?

I know, I'm sorry, isn't this thing a royal pain? :D

Does it really need all this validation?

The campaign pages are awesome, but the stuff with fleets seem kind of over the top. 99% of player will be using a builder anyway. The only really useful thing would be tracking veteran/scarred status.
