You too can create your own portable Sun. With minimal tools (backsaw, dril, hack saw, soldering iron) due to apartment living, simple design is important. Materials bill is small too:

I suppose the soldering might be the most arcane, but you can get solderless connectors for these things. Second round of lights was an excellent addition, bright it from better to holy crap daylight. The LED were cheap too, 30$?, Materiel bill of about 60-70 all told including epoxy (I was lazy with the frames)
