According to Rafpark - who is very well connected - the release date is May for the core and September for the first expansions. In both posts he made about it he did not use 'maybe'. He could have been told a worst case estimate but we may have to prepare for the worst

Too much for something "on the boat" since several weeks. The only option for that is a mayor errata on production.

Maybe is a delay in then French production... Although the Spanish distributor is the same (EDGE), the Spanish version is dated 24th March (and expansions in Q2). I think the official distributor page is more reliable... at least for Spain.

I will not believe that until we get more confirmation, my FLGS's Asmodee/FFG rep is petty upfront with delays and bad news as I saw with the massive amounts of updates on product from the Destiny launch...so here is hoping that that is a pessimistic estimation...also another 2 month delay could be very bad for the game...Feb was the original proposed launch, then Q1 then March with the expansions in Q2...this would push most of the game into the second half of the year and cause a lot of people to potentially lose interest...

ok I found it... To me it is for the french release, I doubt that a french guy will ask a french blogger about the english release... Because some of them (no most of them) are pretty conservative about language. not as me I suppose

I asked him to have the confirmation but I'm pretty sure of myself.

Edge Espana is a better source. I have mentioned in a PM to @Jek that the french version was just announced a week or so ago so it doesn't look like a miss to consider the french version being delivered in may. consider that FFg has a branch in germany where they'll maybe stock the minis for the european releases. We know the ship is making its way through the North Pacific, so my guess is that it will provide all the boxes for the american release and then a second or third ship will bring those for the european market.

I was under the misapprehension that the release would be simultaneous, but I'm now cautiously optimistic

I thought it too, but Edge France (as maybe Edge España) has diversified his range of games and editors. Once upon a time (yeah I'm an old timer^^) Edga was mainly a FFG translation editor. Not anymore. To be honest, I was wondering why Edge España was announcing the game and not Edge France... bah no need to worry. Thanks to Edge Peninsula iberica (yeah, i can't write Spain in spanish without having to use two shortcuts, sorry my dear^^), we are almost reasured that we'll have our game by march-april... Or at least i hope it so much.

When the card spins fast enough to burst into flames, go build some more terrain in the basement, buy some more paint on Amazon, and then make a new card.

I just hope they release another article or two soon. I am dying for more information on the game, lol.

I can't imagine a scenario where this game releases after the first week or two of April. If your local store has any in stock or not is another question...

I wouldn't be shocked if a delay happened, considering it seems the updates have just stopped. I remember similar events for The Greater Devourer, and that was a mighty big delay. I think 4 months on the boat?
