Just making sure I'm reading the rules correctly here because I know one of my players will be using one of these. Micro-rockets normally require the ranged (heavy) skill to fire with an armor mount or mechanics with a difficulty upgrade to fire without a launcher of some sort. When fired from a launcher pistol the skill used is ranged (light)? Just seems a bit strange to me. I get that a pistol is a light weapon but it seems to me an armor mount is a fairly light, short barreled weapon as well. Upgrading the armor mounted launcher to heavy makes sense due to the ordinance used but then wouldn't the same apply to the pistol? I'm probably overthinking it but just curious what people here think.
Micro-rocket launcher pistol
I assume the intent was to mirror the CSPL-12 Projectile Launcher from Forged in Battle which does the same for grenades and is also ranged light. Given their fairly high cost and the fact that their are significantly fewer options than grenades, I find them fairly reasonable and balanced. Actually, I'm more confused by the fact that the Burn and Breach rockets aren't restricted but that's a discussion for another post.
