Anybody out there have any idea what ship that is?

It doesn't look familiar to me.

It's a Raider. The same kind of turrets are shown on the X-wing scale ship.

Really? That angle seems so wide to be a Raider.

Also...not that it matters...but why put a Raider on a TRC card?

Jesting - but its just that, art has to be "somewhat appropriate", rather than "designated signatory" of the system being shown.

So as long as the Image has an image of Turbolasers, then its appropriate - even if the card itself is technically incorrect - it just has to look appropriate.

Which is why we see Turbolaser reroutes on a ship that can't take them in game - because it looks like it would be appropriate. With art work being reused between the multiple games systems, there's a certain point when the decision makers don't look for specifics, they just want something somewhat appropriate.

My favourite art is still the full art-predator card... Mostly because, y'know, Rebel CIS ships (and the back end of a rebel venator)

The reason I ask (and care) is SOMEBODY pointed out the Quasar class over in the Article Predictions thread that SOMEBODY created.

Huh, looked more like the Arq to me on seeing it. I can see the Raider style turrets now though.

I personally think it's a CR90.

Ya know just to pour some napalm on the 'card art being used to predict future releases' fire. It could be that at some point we're going to get III and IV variants on select ships where certain upgrades can be used.

IE: a Raider III that can take turbolaser upgrades.

For the rest of us: Rule of Cool, it looks awesome so they did it.

Actually thought it looks like the front of a vsd, but the panel seams do resemble a raider.

Having painted several just recently, put me in the "I think it's a Raider." camp.

I'm certain with so many of you thinking it is the raider that you are right. However I must be thinking it is the wrong part of the ship or something. My raiders are A LOT thinner than the almost right triangle coming from what I see as the front of a ship firing on the art

Oh well. It is really no big deal anyhow. ?
