So, I don't know about you guys, but I'm starting to see more and more of this list. I'd like to start a general strategy discussion on how to handle it in the event that it becomes more popular as it seems quite annoying to fly against and I'd like to keep it's use at a minimum:

Contracted Scout: Intimidation, Intel Agent (28)

Thug: TLT (24) x3

Total: 100

Im wondering how you guys approach this list and/or build against it without losing badly to the rest of the meta. Obviously, against any TLT list range control is everything, but the bumpmaster makes that extremely difficult. My first instinct was to try out an older tie swarm against it:

Howlrunner: Crack

Black: Crack x3

Academy x3

The Academy pilots seem good for limiting bumpmaster shenanigans and tie swarms definitely have the firepower to melt TLT lists, so in theory this seems like the best list to counter it IMO. I'd like to get some input from experienced swarm players on how they think it would do against this TLT list and what in the meta is currently suppressing the swarm now that Dengaroo is starting to fall out of favor.

Mindlink squads also seem like they would do alright, provided that you fly well enough. They don't care about bumping as much since they will still get tokens, but the -1 AGI could potentially be problematic. Something like this might do well:

Fenn: Mindlink, Title, Autothrusters (32)

88C: Mindlink, Autothrusters (39)

Manaroo: Mindlink (28)

Parattanni is definitely more well-rounded than this list, but I feel 88C does much better against TLT than Asajj. The extra agility and Autothrusters is really amazing, considering it is oftentimes hard to keep TLTs stressed with Asajj/Lattz since they want to stay at r3. You also have boost, helping to position against the bumpmaster as to avoid blocks and chase down those pesky TLTs. Some people might suggest running Teroch instead of 88C and putting a plasma on Manny which should theoretically do alright, but personally I just wanted a bit more beef and speed with 88C.

What do you guys think? Would either of these lists stand a chance against 3 TLT + Bumpmaster? If not, what would you fly against it while still having favorable matchups against the rest of the meta? Also, what are your strategy tips on how to fly against that list?

I played triple tlt+bumpmaster at a regional this season and my main problems was essentially Fenn & Teroch PtL or Attani version (and manaroo in backup), brobots and imperial lists with jax, inqui and other 3 greens dice aces with autothruster.

If your list can handle tlt, start by killing the jumpmaster first, he is here to protect the ywings but y wings aren't good bodyguards. And for Tlt, like usual, dive in range 1.

Seems like the bumpmaster would really cause Jax and Inqisitor problems, but Im not really suprised to see Fenn, Terry and IGs doing well against it. Killing the bumpmaster first is interesting though. It probably would be more effective than trying to ignore it long enough to get into r1 of the TLTs.
