Praetor-imperial-battlecruiser-armada-custom review

The trim line is a bit shaky as I now have a tremble in my right hand and painting such details is.... well challenging. I'll nibble away at it over time.

Im glad you like it. Very ice job with the painting. Sorry about the limited panel lines. When i started making it it was the official size of 4000 mtrs and panel lines wouldnt have been very obvious in that scale, and it was too late to add more than a few at the point it was when we started working on the custom variant. The light cruiser has them on it though

I didn't think much of Mel's inclusion of panel lines on a bunch of craft, though comparing an awesome ship without them to an FFG model, it does stand out :\

You could always try using a pen or pencil to draw some grid lines in. I did on my Interdictor to some degree of success. That, or if you have an airbrush, try using some silhuette shapes to try airbrushing one into existance? I dunno.

The geometry is great though. A very nice replacement for an ISD-II.

SOme like then some dont. Like panel lines on a Federation ship it is a matter of taste. Panel lines can also be inscribed wiht a knife or scribing tool Much like they di with the SSD model for RotJ

I knd'a like 'em... (panel lines). I'm going to get with you on another project I'd like to do... a Victory 3 SD. We can start from scratch and put the panel lines in...

message me and we can talk about that. im not usually good with doing other peoples designs that are not 'official' SW ships. smacks of plagiarism. But we will see. Maybe i can do an interpretation of it, my own version so to speak

That was the plan... still a work in progress in my head....LOL
