I'm having a bit of fun updating the old operating system on the ig-88 hardware platform. So many wonderful new toys and interesting new challenges in today's marketplace for high performance combat squads.
It feels like Iggy likes fearlessness,emp device. Clustermines perhaps.

I've never had much success flying Dual Aggressors since defenders have become a thing. Instead, I use just 1 in a mindlink squad that is actually pretty darn effective.
Fenn: Mindlink, Title, Autothrusters (32)
88C: Mindlink, Autothrusters (39)
Manaroo: Mindlink (28)
Total: 99
It's pretty similar to Parattanni really, except 88C is far more durable against turrets with 3 AGI + double focus + evade + Autothrusters. He can also boost, which is something Asajj can't do and you're at 99 points, letting Fenn move after any other Fenn Raus in Parattanni. I actually like 88C here more than a Teroch or Palob because he is SUPER tanky and doesn't worry too much about the bigger shots (Mirandas TLT, Homing Missiles) that tend to make a ship like Teroch or Palob explode fairly quickly. Parattanni is still better than this list in 90% of the matchups you'll face and could probably beat this squad more often than not with Asajj's stress being a massive pain for other Mindlink lists but if you're facing a lot of turrets 88C really does some good work.

Yes you lost a bit of defence without glitterstim, expecially vs double-tap lists. But....Expertise is amazing! Both Bots can boost getting an Evade, without caring about focus and then hits like trucks thanks to Expertise.
Yep you miss an HLC but who cares. 7 dice fully modified still worth.
Funny things: even more vs a VCX! Once all the shields go down, Mango rocks.
I think having Tractor Beam as a second cannon is key for the Aggressors. First shot is always with it, that way Defenders can't just take one damage and avoid the gunner effect, they'll desperately try to avoid it. Then you HLC them with both Aggressors after they spent tokens to avoid the TB.
Tractor Beam is also immensely useful vs bombing K-wings.

Yeah, I tried the very same list. Was kinda hopeful because I used to be pretty successful with Brobots last summer, in the height of u-boat madness. Sadly it didn't work quite as well as I hoped. Maybe I just had a bit of bad luck with dice and got bad match ups, but high PS PWTs were killing me even with the extra evade or focus that I could save thanks to expertise. The old crackshot brobots also had the advantage of being able to take out one ship quickly and even the odds. Loss of one die and 2 crackshots makes it far less likely you can do that in the first pass and it gets quite hard if you don't manage it.
