I have only just started reading the Rogue Squadron books and I like them a lot. I wonder if Disney would ever do a Rogue Squadron Trilogy. That would fit great with their X-Wings game.
Wonder if we would ever get a Rogue Squadron Movie?
At best there might be a single stand off movie about a fighter squadron. Maybe a top gun type movie in space.
But not a trilogy of them. And probably not about rogue squadron either.
To bad, I am loving both the books and the graphic novels. The story of the squadron and the background of the resistance would be great
Top Gun meets Star Wars would make for a great movie. Wedge needs his story!

But only if the play Danger Zone several times throughout the movie.
Stackpole's Rogue Squadron books where the only EU novels I really enjoyed. The only ones I re-read. It got a bit silly whn Alliston continued the series. But yes, I'd enjoy a Rogue Squadron movie.

Agreed. This would be a candidate for one of the "anthology" movies but not till they've ground out every last drop of fan service to be wrung from OT era stuff. Depending on where they go with the post Ep VII series you might get this sort of thing with Resistance/First Order.
I don't see why they wouldn't make a movie of it. It might take them a while to get to it, but why not?
Also, I couldn't stand the first book. I'll admit I was listening to the audio book version, but I couldn't keep track of who was who and it was just kind of annoying. I'd be happy to see a movie or read the graphic novels.

Why does Star Wars need a movie about volleyball?
