I have to point this out, am i the only one who notices at 19:46 lukasz flicks the lambda than puts the tie/sf in place?

Deathfire is a beautiful little ship. He picked up a couple of strong finishes (wins?) early in the regionals season and from there I gave him a try - he's the closest the Imperials have to the K-Wing as his barrel/bomb is sort of similar to the SLAM/bomb. Costs a fair bit less too.

I'm encouraged by these results, hopefully they're not just a blip and represent people finding a solution. I believe in non-PTL Carnor Jax, which I think I told @Oldpara privately a while back.

I played Deathfire back in the summer, when u-boats were still on the tables. I used him instead of a Palp shuttle in a Commonwealth Defender list (the name wasn't around yet at the time) and managed to get all the way to top 8 in our nationals. Call me crazy, but I swear he did a lot more for me than the grandpa Palp would have. Between delivering target lock to Vessery via LRS, shooting extra 4-die attacks at tokenless enemies, crippling crucial targets with Conners, blocking enemies and simply taking the heat off the defenders in the crucial first engagement, he was easily the MVP of most of my games. He wouldn't survive the battle too often mind you, but he did so much before he went down.

You can't really ignore him, to be honest. Go after the Defenders first and he'll have a field day. I guess the key is engaging with the Defenders first, then have him roll in and cause chaos in the melee.

A Palpshuttle usually just has the one trick up it's sleeve - the reroll (it is a good one mind you). And while it can cause problems with the full stop and contribute offensively with it's three red dice, keeping it pointed the right way usually becomes an issue.

There is hot discussion about this is Poland :)

Eventually it didn't mattered, but as you can see Lukasz fired his bomber against Shuttle without return fire, as Lukasz considered ships not bumped, while Radek considered them bumped. Yet he took damage without complaints! Playing 12th game during 2 days can be devastating :)

Yeah the bomber you mean? He was probably going to bump, then flicks the lambda backwards, and then proceeds to place the bomber like it wasn't going to bump. Not saying it's cheating but something that close you rule in favor of your opponent.

There must have been at least a dozen people watching it live, including the judges. I very much doubt he would attempt to cheat so blatantly in front of a crowd like that. He was just tired (as was his opponent) and in the end it simply didn't matter much.

The shuttle was on the rock, was it not? That's why i thought it didn't return fire.

Also i am not accusing anybody of cheating or anything , i am saying he flicked the ship. It can't be denied that he touches the lambda and the bomber still moves slightly after that. Either by accident or malice, to which i can't say. It happened.

Nor the result would change if he did bump, just pointing sth i saw.

I am almost sure it was Debri field. Ryad landed on it later on, taking only stress. Shuttle took second stress as well moving on it.
