Good luck with updating Wookiepedia with that info. The site runners there refused to allow the HWK-290 page to be updated to account for the smaller size that FFG cited was direct from the Lucasfilm archives, insisting on going with WotC's exaggerated size that put the ship as being comparable size-wise to a YT-1300 instead of a Y-Wing. Haven't checked the HWK-290 page to see if they've finally relented or at still sticking to their guns.

They likewise won't change the figures they have for the Skywatcher -class Deep Space Scout to match those found in Beyond the Rim --the only source for that ship.

The FFG article cited doesn't actually specify the HWK-290s length; with the proper evidence, the article could be updated, no problem.

It wasn't the promo article on this site, but actually from a Q&A session that FFG relayed that Lucasfilm records showed the ship as being under 20 meters in length, one that had been validated and could be linked to as a resource.

Even still, the otakus at Wookieepedia refused to allow the update to stick, with the chat archive for the page getting rather testy at points, enough to lead the admins to lock the page and prevent any edits.

Would you happen to have access to the Q&A session? I'm assuming that the change was turned down because this was never presented, only word of mouth. Something that cannot be cited.

A7T, I provided the above sample where Wookieepedia wouldn't change things to match the sole source on something.

I can't speak to that since I don't have that source. What exactly needs changing?

Passengers should be "6 plus 12 droids" not "16 plus 12 droids." Probably just a typo, but they won't change it.

Fixed, easy as that.

Why not just use the heavy 95s from stay on target
