Future DLC schedule?

By Bibbles, in Mansions of Madness

I am fully up to date with all DLC and store purchased scenarios and having a great time. I can find any mention of future releases beyond what is out. Does anyone know what the status os this is?

There is nothing official announced yet

Yep. No announcements, nothing on the "upcoming" section section either.

One article said another article (part 2) would contain talk of the future, but it didn't. Either that was a mistake on behalf of the writer or editor, or they chose to omit any interview material conserning future releases for reasons unknown. Any guess is as good as the other. I'm guessing PR strategy: don't tell until the features are firm enough, as to not build up anticipation for something that may be subject to change. Pure speculation of course, not worth much.

If you want something, it's been almost a month since the last patch, whereas they're often once in a week, give or take, post-release of new content. I think this could mean two things: software development is currently focusing on either another line of products, or on new content implementation for this one. Which translates into that we cannot possibly know anything, really. Just thought i should cover it.

Im guessing they moved the software development team to the Empirical Assault App. Im worried they bit off more than they can chew. They are a software/board game company. With three games running an app they are going to need a great many more programmers. Lets hope this won't be sidelined for too long. Some news to pin hopes on would be great. ;)

I'm sure one of the biggest companies in the world producing boardgames won't make silly mistakes like a bunch of noobs. We can't have a new scenario every couple of weeks

Heh, i do wonder what the rush is? We've had 9 scenarios released in less than half a year... I've only been able to play two of them till now (5 times and 2 times)... Like I'm hoping they slow down a bit so my wallet can catch up... :D

Chuckle. It has been a good ride so far and the DLC was wonderful. I've managed to get in a few more games than that. We've played every adventure between 2-10 times except that six hour one. I have friends calling me to see when the next romp is. Im not worried that there will be more but I love seeing the schedule as it unfolds the nerd excitement building with every teaser.

We've played every scenario yet released. Some just once, others a few times. I don't know where that places us on a scale, but i imagine there's a bell curve here. Steam allows for play statistics (i don't know the details but i believe you can hook up any flag or variable, such as if any scenario was completed, in what time, and so on). It'd be interesting to see some analysis on a per user basis.
