Hello, some of the things i'm thinking about the future of this game and dont know if it will going to happen...

- will we get Sequels / prequels / one shots like rogue one characters in this game ? it would be pretty cool to have kylo ren or finn and stuff beside the original series :s
- will it be possible to get more versions of the same characters ? thinking about luke skywalker in this game, can we get like 2 darth vaders or 2 han solos if they include sequels ?
- will there be more expansions or maps to the game ? i wonder if death star or jakku will be possible in the game..
- when is the app coming ? since i dont know people playing it and if i want to play alone, will this app help me doing that ?
- what are the best single expansions characters to get first ? in terms of preferences i wanted luke han chewie etc.. but in terms of adding more difficulty / strenght / strategy or OP teams dont know what to buy..
- will they reprint characters and if so will they be same price or less expansive ? since they have almost everyone sold out, can someone tell me if it will be reprints soon ?

PS : sorry if the questions are stupid or already answered, i just want to get in this game and have some answers :x

Yea a lot of this has been discussed in various threads, but some of us enjoy continually discussing it Not like threads like this really clutter up our forums, they are already pretty inactive.

I absolutely think we will get Sequel and One Shot content, technically we already have some prequel stuff with he Nexu FFG seems to like to spoil future content with the art on the command cards and we've seen a lot of Rebels stuff so far, with Hera and Chopper now announced, so I expect to see some Rogue One stuff in their wave. I don't think we will see a Rogue One box, but definitely some figure packs.

The common thinking here is that we will go to Endor next for a small box expansion in the summer (to be announced in the next few months) then the winter will bring the release of the co-op app.

I kind of think they are going to do a new version of Han with a skirmish fix for Chewie in the Endor box. General Solo or something along those lines. I still hope they fix the Smuggler version though as that is much more iconic!

Anything is possible, they've shown us that already.

See Above, I wouldn't expect the app before winter 2017 (Q4). That is pure speculation though. If it is like Descent or Mansions of Madness it will absolutely support solo play.

For campaign? Hired Guns are a great flexible unit and the RGC brings a great agenda deck. The Bantha Rider is also very entertaining but limited to desert tiles. After that you can really just pick and choose whatever iconic characters you want the mini for in your missions. For Skirmish, well that really depends on what faction you want to play.. you would be better off to look at potential lists you want to try and buy around that.

They will always reprint if the demand is there, right now the demand is there so expect reprints that will be the same. They will only change things on new cards that have been errated.

For reprints, see the big Upcoming link at the top of the page. The first wave figures have already been reprinted twice, I think.

When, what, why - only FFG knows. And FFG will tell us up to a few months before they are available, and even then FFG does not give you dates. Until the product announcement everything is rumor.

There are so many possibilities for new campaigns and figures, that new versions of existing figures feel like a waste of design and testing effort.

Technically the Death Star tiles were in the core set. That's what the big hangar and red prison tiles are from, as well as all the rest of the indigo hallway tiles.

I'm very hopeful we will get Rogue One and more Rebels characters. I particularly want to see more Imperial uniques. I'm a little surprised we haven't gotten some of the more iconic imperial officers.

If you buy the game and you enjoy what there is now, is it really a waste? If it is good currently and you enjoy it, will you regret what you already have because of the new stuff that comes out?

Don't decide to buy into this game looking at the future unless you plan on being a hyper competitive skirmisher. Look at what there is now and decide if the price suites your taste. This game is extremely modable and can tailor to your tastes. Currently the content is great, and that is all that should matter right now.

True, the core set included a decent variety of tiles. The thing is, most sets aren't going to be completely independent from the core set tiles(though some RtH missions seem like it) and this is especially true of the small boxes. I think there are a ton of Death Star tiles that we could get for a DSII campaign.

For one, a Fire Control Room, would be really cool. I also wouldn't mind a throne room.

Add in the classics from the Core set like the red prison hallways, the hanger, and the trash compactor, and you've got yourself a pretty exciting blueprint for Death Star maps.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a PT or ST core set as an update to the current core set or maybe even a full on IA2.0 in the coming years.

And if the SWLCG and X-Wing are any indication, repeat characters should be happening.
