Can anyone post an image of the Narrow Escape playmat? Does it actually have markings for where to place cards? The product description says it does but the product art doesn't show it.

I'm assuming the mat that comes with the investigators of Arkham Horror is the same? Im likely picking up the Investigators of Arkham deluxe edition with the Azathoth mat and want to double check it has markings for card placement on it. Cheers!

I don't have the art on hand, but I have seen the playmats, and most of them do not have any UI grid to place cards on.

They're quite pretty though.

Oh thats a real shame. Hmm. Not sure I want to drop £60 on it if it doesn't have the type of mat I'm after :/

Yeah, my understanding was it was only the "four" player mat that had the markings for act/agenda deck etc.

I'm not sure I would want a playmat that had specific markings for cards (The 4 player mat keeps this to a minimum)

As the game evolves and more mechanics creep in, you run the risk of your playmat becoming obsolete fairly quickly
