Let me introduce you to a couple friends of mine. They're none too fast, but they do a good job of turning eyeballs back into scrap.
Nerf's ship, the Blue Milk, is what happens when you hack out both torpedo racks and strap a bomblet generator in there. TIEs love chasing a Y, they don't plan on getting a bomb down the throat.
Wampa probably isn't space-lane legal, with those engine pods from a TIE Punisher, but his turret is just about tall enough that it doesn't matter.

This. I love this. I love the TIE Bomber and have been digging the Y-Wing lately... If I can manage to get good at scratch-building ordinance pods I might just have to try to recreate this for the Stealz.
And the blood. Blood is fun. Make things go splat, not boom.
