Op Spec for fun and profit

So the thought is to always evade with the snap shot omega's and try to set up snap shots to either deal damage or pick up focus. The swarm leader will focus and be coordinated for what ever action makes the most sense. The upsie will always coordinate, and with op spec and fcs + gunner should have a fully modified shot or at least deal damage.

Thoughts, comments, and concerns are welcome.

I dig the OpSpec/Gunner combo. Those FOs seem light, but I can't find a place to add to them. Without dice mods that swarm leader won't be as punchy, you need to make sure both Snaps can generate the focus at the same time keeping the Ups close enough for OpsSpec to trigger. If you could find 2 points to upgrade to Striden, that extra range band would really help. Maybe drop pattern analyzer?

That is definitely an option that I should have considered. With the upsilon coordinating the swarm leader things should work out for dice mods.

So the swarm leader takes a reposition action, gets the snap shot focus and the Ups coordinates the TL. Should be good, again Striden would help there as well because coordinate is range 1-2.

Ok, how about these tweaks. Wanted to maximize on Striden. I lose the gunner but the snap shots should help with that focus passing:

That could work well, but I would probably go with:

Major Stridan (42)

-FCS, Op Spec, Gunner

Omega pilot (20)

-Swarm Leader

Omega Pilot (19x2)

-Snap Shot

That means the base 4 dice on the upsilon while attacking gets to either do a little damage or fire a second fully modified shot. The 4 dice from the Swarm leader will always have focus (by taking the action), and can be coordinated for whatever makes the most sense at the time (TL if not threatened or needing to make damage stick, barrel roll or evade of you can't out right dodge or block). The snap shot fo's will be able to either provide focus where needed or keep it to mod their own attack - obviously evading every turn to power swarm leader. I doubt this stands up to the meta but it should be good fun.
