I painted a B-Wing like this. Didn't try the yellow strips, I didn't feel skilled enough. Yours is better than mine at every colour anyway. ¬¬

It's not 'unknown' - it's because they make such a great canvas.
(all those large flat surfaces just scream for custom painting - how long till we see a SW scene or other vignette adorning one of them?)
