It basically crunches some random numbers to pop out a planet. Be advised, some of the results won't make a lot of sense with each other. "Population: 4 thousand, coal-level industry, with a strong Imperial presence? Okay..." I would say pick the best parts and ditch the rest, but it can be handy when your players get lost or head out into the great unknown.
