CC and End of Round

By Card Knight, in Star Wars: Armada Rules Questions

This came up in my last game of CC. Gave a look around at the FAQ and the rest of the forum and couldn't find an answer:

If I destroy all of my opponents ships, does the game immediately end or will my opponents squadrons still get to activate in the squadron phase?

And while I'm at it, a clarification on this interaction for tournaments would be swell too.

Game end immediately when one fleet /sidedoesn't have any ships left

^ I think pretty much everyone does this.

From Tournament Regulations, page 16:

"End of Round

Each tournament round ends in one of the following ways:

• One Player Defeated: At the end of a game round, all of one player’s ships are destroyed. The player with at least one ship remaining earns a win and the opposing player receives a loss.

• Mutual Destruction: At the end of a game round, all of both players’ ships are destroyed. The player without initiative is the winner, but his or her Margin of Victory is 0.

• Six Rounds Pass: Players finish the sixth game round. The player with the higher score earns a win and the opposing player receives a loss.

• Time: At the end of a game round, the round time limit has been reached. (If time is called during a game round, players must finish that game round.) The player with the higher score earns a win and the opposing player receives a loss.

• Concession: A player voluntarily concedes defeat at any point during the game. All of that player’s ships and squadrons are destroyed. The conceding player receives a loss worth 0 tournament points and a Margin of Victory of 0. If his or her opponent has a Margin of Victory of 140 points or more, the opponent receives tournament points and a Margin of Victory as outlined in “Tournament Points” on page 17. Otherwise, the opponent receives 8 tournament points and a Margin of Victory of 140. "

The question is, of course, wether Tournament regulations count for a Corellian Conflict Campaign game, and that's something that needs to be decided by you and your opponents, as really, its the only rule in that whole regulation book (other than the setup) that needs to be used.

Yeah I finally found that in the tournament doc after I posted. I thought for sure it was finish the round for tournaments, but i couldn't figure out the way it would go for CC, as there isn't anything in RR or FAQ.

I'll talk to my group then! Its the difference in unscarring an ISD or not...
