Murne's Arms

By VryMadHatter, in Imperial Assault Campaign

Whats up with Murne having humanoid arms/fingers? She has a slug body type and then these perfect little human like bones/arm structure? Not buying it. Did she get those made, lol, maybe stole them from someone else? But those definitey werent on there originally! Poorly constructed alien body!!!

But gameplay wise i love Murne. Dig the strain relief she offers, telling imperials to move somewhere else stops bodyblocking or imperias rushing objectives. We outfitted Murne with strain relief items and she can false orders waylay all day now. Really fun character. And her miniature is excellent, the flowing robes and staff might be my fav miniature in the game! Not like fenn (sweet blast dmg bro) but that dumb helmet and ascot... at least he doesnt have a ponytail. Go Murne.

I mean, I guess they're a little dainty by Ithorian standards, but not overly so. Anyway, she is a diplomat, after all- its not like she'd have big beefy blacksmith arms.

With Hand Cannon she doesn't need Waylay.

We gave Onar the hand cannon and he grabbed his 4xp card 'Dont Make Me Hurt You' and he is just wrecking people right now with 3 red dice.

That's... more than a little vicious.

Murne has extremely long fingers, just like all Ithorians.

And of course it goes without saying that all the characters look absolutely fabulous darling.

I've been trying to decide on a Hero for the next campaign I'm going to be in and Murne was one of my finalists. Is she mostly just useful as a support character? It feels like the Imperial player can play around False Orders by just rarely bringing units with a low enough figure cost.

That, and the stuff that targets figures with a cost of 3 or less seems totally useless, as those pretty much just die in one shot anyway.

She's a machine with a good gun and Lead from the Front.

False Orders is not even needed.

I've been reading through your RtH campaign on BGG. It seemed like they only ever used False Orders to remove focus from your units. The Hand Cannon was absolutely brutal on her. It didn't seem like there was much you could do to counter, at least not with Precision class deck.
