It's a pretty different style from the classic Brobots. This play way more aggressive, looking for range 1. Clusters are there just for the meta, trying to put bombs in front of PS7+ ships.

The plan is using Expertise for accuracy, the use evade or boost/evad as mine action. Maybe a target lock for the first engage.

Scavenger Crane is...not consolidate. But I was thinking if I will really miss Glitterstim (yep it block Expertise but I will get a full eye anyway in that turn, so...).

I can do the B version with Expertise, but I'll miss an authotruster, a FCS, or a downgrade of 1 HLC into a Mangler. Can't get wich will be better. Whwt do you think about?

Asides from the usual "A is trash, take B" style comments that you'll get, I think that the bigger issue is with Expertise itself. Brobots, in my experience, really like their Segnor Loops. And if they're going to be stressed, that shuts down Expertise completely. So not sure if it's the best option.

However, the idea of not needing any offensive mods is a nice one. Expertise and FCS let you focus on, as you said, evades and boosts, or mines.

I think what might serve this list better though, is an asymetrical build on the two ships. Maybe one kitted as you have them, and the other with a cannon instead of the mines. That way you have the one that wants to mix it up at range 1, and you have the one that wants to sit back and take pot shots from range 3. It gives you more options, and forces your opponents to commit to chasing one or the other, leaving the other free to do their stuff.

About asimmetrical build I writed an Autoblaster Fearlessnes+HLC Expertised, but B doesn't fit so well with Autoblaster. Still struggling...anyway I found this:

Aggressor: · IG-88C (36)
Expertise (4)
"Mangler" Cannon (4)
Tractor Beam (1)
Fire Control System (2)
Autothrusters (2)

I just have to switch an HLC with the Mango

Ah, now this I like. You're not going to self stressing often, you still have full offensive mods, and you can perform that sweet double tap when needed. While you still suffer on the Segnors, the B double tap mitigates that somewhat. I think that this list has legs, for sure. Though I might switch the Tractor Beam to B, so that he has a cannon that can hit his Range 1 Blind Spot.

The thing about the Beam is that I was thinking to use C as a front line, Tractor (eventually) and then shoot 4 red dices to the tractored enemy. But I will see it tonight, I'll try this (:

Done. Victory!

Agains TLTKanan-Biggs. Missing Glitterstim is an HUGE compromise against any double-tap attack. And Kanan hit me hard with 4xTLT shots per turn.
Anyway the list hits hard too! Expertise+FCS is amazing, nearly 3-4 hits all the time without any stress.
You need to fly the list careful, but Expertised Brobots hits pretty well! Approved.

Note: the Tractor Beam works too! Tractor Biggs into a rock, then hit him with a fully modified HLC shot.

Now I need more opponents
