I learned recently that Mel's Miniatures has made the Profundity from Rouge One.

The Profundity was the Rebel Flagship in the movie.

I'll be getting one as soon as I can.

So what I need to know is has anyone done this ship up in Armada?

Hmmm 17.1 cm long...does that make it a large or medium ship? Large I think....

Mel said he intended the sculpt for a large base. It also needs it's own specific flight stand due to the height of the sculpt.

I'm sure it looks absolutely gorgeous.

Well, crap.

If Disney is going to step in, it'll be now. New film, new ship, entirely owned and created for a new movie.

I should probably finally grab something interesting from the EU before it disappears....

I've been eying the MC-40, Mon Remonda and the rebel defender fighters, i'll admit

This is a ship that is a straight up given for Armada, I'm gonna wait...but the model does interest me.

shhh - we do not bring attention to Mel's miniatures here...

If the mouse hasn't come down on him by now, I think he's safe from the mouse.

I feel like that thing has to be in the next wave. If it isn't I'll probably bite, but it's almost too good of an option to sit on.

Its not so much the Mouse.

But the last time this was an Issue, they Deleted not only all of the threads that were related to it, but they also removed the entire painting sub-forum...

Which after much begging and pleading, we only just got back semi-recentish... So a lot of us would rather not risk the Forums doing that again...

Well I was able to purchase to Mel's Miniatures for the Profundity w/stand last night along with some other non-Star Wars items as well.

And so if all goes well I might come up with a game using the Profundity in a Convention game.

One a side note a few weeks back at a local gaming Convention I ran my Star Wars Armada game with my Super Star Destroyer and this game was different than my first game where the Imperial's won,but in this game the Rebels had a great day and took out everything(including the SSD)except for 1-Star Destroyer.

All who took part liked the game since this was their first Armada game since they only played X-Wing before.

Mine just arrived, posted two pictures in the Mel Miniatures Reaction thread in the Painting Sub-forum.

Another large Rebel ship seems excessive, but **** it's pretty.

If I remember correctly there was a Moderator who stated that the painting subforum wasnt closed due to custom miniatures but because some internal problems. Im trying to find the actual post.

And about mentioning me, I think its ok if YOU do as long as I don't because that is advertisement and spamming.

But I kinda love the idea of me being a whisper in the dark
