Hey Guys

I'm thinking of Magnetising my Ghost to allow easier removal of it but also to have my lego minifigs magnetised to the top. (i have Kanan, Finn, Hera and Chopper so lots of fun shenanigans to be had)

How thick is the plastic on the Ghost? my theory is to open her up and slightly sink a magnet or two inside the top shell (then magnetise a few 1x2 lego pieces) to keep my characters in situ during the game, and then put a few magnets in the bottom where the top of the flying stand rests and have them inside and out of view so not spoiling the flow of the model (plus it's less likely to go Wonky)

also, how can i open it without breaking the model to bits? i'm happy to open things up if i have an idea on where to begin.
