I've got a large 4 day, 20 player narrative XWing event that I'm running on March 13th (I know that's very close), and the final boss battle will be against a large First Order (FO) force that will start on the 15th of March
My remaining budget for this event is $100.
I'm trying to find someone to paint up a TIE defender and a standard TIE Fighter (Imperial, not FO) in an FO scheme. I'll gladly swap models (mail back to you a standard TIE Defender and a TIE Fighter) and if letting you keep everything but the models in the expansions helps keep costs down, I'm game.
If budget allows I'd like an interior red stripe on the TIE Defender's bottom two wings (trying to give it a bit of Red Baron flavor, but keep it First Order) and a red stripe across the bottom half of the TIE Fighter wings with some sort of symbol to denote that it's Wampa on the stripe (putting Wampa in an otherwise First Order list) A few kill marks on the Defender would be cool too. If the cockpit glass could be green on both, even better. I don't need anything special on the bases.
This is an event held at a private school to teach kids teamwork, tactical thinking, and also to just have fun... We're tying it into a history lesson about World War dogfighting.
I would definitely keep the models and try to fit them into a tournament list, so you might see them in play, but they'd stay here at school, primarily for student use in our lunch time Board Game club.
So I know I'm a lot. If anyone has an established studio through which I could process this and would be able to deliver on time at the given budget, I'd be thrilled. Kinda hoping someone's already done something similar or has something close they're willing to part with. We are a not for profit if anyone would value their work over the budget and want to donate it.
