Still very much a beginner at Armada, only having played the tutorial and some very low key games. I've found some new friends who play, and will get to play my first 400 point game with them soon. Certainly they will be very friendly games, but I would like to at least be a little competitive. So I'm trying to decide what my next purchase should be. Here is what I have so far:

Core Set, ISD, MC80, Raider, GR-75, Rebel Squadrons (I and II), Imperial Squadrons (I and II), and Rogues and Villians.

I am thinking it is between the AFM II, Phoenix One, and the MC30, but maybe it would be another GR-75 or something else. I'm looking for fun and interesting, more than super competitive, and I would like to focus on squadron heavy support, but all suggestions are welcome. Thanks!

Well, I would say the Phoneix home- the fleet buff abilities are interesting, its damage dice are alright, and its ability as a carrier is solid. It also has Flechette Torpedoes, which will make your Raider far, far more interesting.

After that I would strongly consider a Gladiator for the Imperial side, and the Correllian Campaign for the squadrons and missions.
