Yeah, no pics. Context of the article makes it sound like it's not the Resurgent, again - but they are speculating on the scene, anyway. The way the ship is described does sound exactly like the Resurgent, though.

The Super Star Destroyer Eclipse is part of Canon again, and is not considered lost in action. Rather it was sent to the Unknown Regions by command of The Emperor himself.
It would be the First Order's 1st Super Star Destroyer, although whether it is an Eclipse Class or an Executor Class remains to be revealed.

At the risk of spoilers, was that confirmed in one of the Aftermath sequels? The first one only said that it was listed as destroyed but the documentation made it seem that was a possible coverup.
It's confirmed in Empire's End.

If I remember correctly, Life Debt claimed the Eclipse of the new canon is just a regular Super Star Destroyer. Not the superlaser carrying monster of a ship it was in legends canon.
The term "Super Star Destroyer" according to newcanon Complete Locations , includes other massive ships as well as Executors - leaving open the possibility that the Eclipse is not an Executor-class.

Correct.
**MINOR SPOILER BELOW**
It is also confirmed to be in the hands of the nascent First Order at the end of Empire's End. This rumor could have more truth to it than I initially expected.

This ship really sounds like the EU Eclipse , with or without the superlaser, though I'm open to other interpretations. Does EE go into what type of Star Dreadnought the new Eclipse is? I know the old canon can't really much compare, but how little care the new Story Group gives for ship type, or logistics and the like, or more accurately how they can't decide if they care, really grates me.
It's described as looking like a blade. Doesn't go into any more detail than that.
