It's pretty standard but seemed to work well. I hung with Palp Defender/Inquisitor until the very end and this is a very basic build. Tweaks?

Why the 2 point bid?

Why Elusiveness? It is painfully not good because it forces you to stress yourself to MAYBE make your opponent get a bad roll and if they have a focus it might not make any different or worse give them a crit and could easily be replaced with just about anything for backdraft, VI for ps 9, crackshot, expertise so it can use focus defensively, cool hand, outmaneuver, adaptability + fcs and you have 2 points for the title for Dormitz.

Also why the hyperwave comm on backdraft? I understand for dormits to place at 6 or 12 but Backdraft its only really useful for 12 sine he is ps 7 naturally, if its to get in a good alpa with placeing with dormitz might as well go VI and place at ps 9

Would drop elusivness and give backdraft vi and sensor cluster

Helps agienst PS 9 ships and that focus to evade is rly good for survival

And then you still have 1 point in bid

This is my favorite backdraft build at the moment . You can drop the comm scanner off dormitz and have no bid. Hux works well as you'll have a focus to spend on defence and you'll be able to barrel roll or TL

TIE/sf Fighter: · "Backdraft" (27)

Expertise (4)

Collision Detector (0)

Lightweight Frame (2)

Special Ops Training (0)

Sensor Cluster (2)

Thanks everyone! Like I said, it was a basic build I came up with fast after buying the Upsilon. I like the idea of VI and Sensor Cluster on Backdraft.

Just want to point out that I tried Sensor Cluster when it first came out, and had some good success with it against Zuckuss crew, and EVERYBODY said, "Oh, that was just situational. It's a dud card." Now the consensus is that it's good. My, how opinions change. Just goes to show that you shouldn't always follow the groupthink here on the forums, or you may miss out on gems like Sensor Cluster.

I have enjoyed sensor cluster since buying my sf's as well. I did make the switch to pattern analyzer when light-weight frame came out though. Haven't looked back since. I will say that a missile SF would still love sensor cluster since it wants guidance chips in the mod slot.
