Not a question about how it work. It is more a wondering about how it should work.

The rule:

Special Rule : While a ship is attacking, before resolving any attack effects, if any portion of the corona is inside the attacking hull zone's firing arc, the attacker must discard 1 die with a icon from the attack pool, if able.

Right now you can get your accuracies through many ways even with this objective. In fact you don't need a starting accuracy and if you go with h9, home one, etc. you don't want it in order to don't loose a die as you can get your accuracy later while resolving modifiers.

Would be more interesting (and maybe better) that the wording would be "before spending accuracies"?

I know spending accuracies could happen before or after other modifiers so I am not sure how much the wording should be changed but right now the only thing truly affected by this rule are non-accuracy-modifiers attacks and SW7.

Is curious for me that default attacks want 2 accuracies to get at least one and Hone One/H9/Jonus want 0 accuracy to get their 1. I would imagine you must need at least 1.

I didn't play this objective yet so I am not sure. Do you think it is to easy to ignore the penalty or it is okay as it is?

Right now the corona should only affect the dice that were initially rolled. And if there is an accuracy you have to remove one (because of the corona). If you get some other accuracy on another way (reroll, H9, ...) does not matter anymore. You do not have to remove these additional accuracies for the Corona.

I like this objective. It reinforces people to take H9, which is a solid upgrade and anti-flotilla tech, but it can keep your triple defense token ships alive for much longer like the Glads or AF. I think this objective is best with Evade token fleets, since you can remove 2 dice at long range.

Most large ships will not carry H9, since they have a large attack pool to begin with and can LS their way into one, so this objective hurts them.

I do wish the objective read: "The first Acc generated in the attack pool must be discarded." This way the objective is stronger against H9 and the sort.

The wording I would have liked is:

"While a ship is attacking, before spending an Accuracy icon, the attacker must discard another die with an Accuracy icon from the attack pool."

This would mean you still get to keep an attack pool with 1 Acc. Unless that is your point.

Yeah, but you can't spend it. You can discard it, and you can get 1 damage from SW-7. But you can't use it to kill a flotilla.
