Could someone please help us with a rules dispute for the Star Wars Imperial Assault core game? In the campaign mission Desperate Hour the second General Weiss is described as having an action after each Imperial groups activation. Can an elite Imperial Officer order General Weiss to move or attack as normal? The special ability says "friendly figure" but other players believe he is a "special" character and does not count as a friendly figure.

He counts as a friendly figure. There is no change in his status as a figure, or as friendly. He just has different rules for when he activates. Unless mission rules specifically say to treat a figure differently, just treat them normally.

Friendly Figure said:

All figures belonging to a player are friendly toward one another.
- A figure is friendly to itself.
- During a campaign, all Rebel-affiliation figures are friendly toward one another. In addition, all [iImperial-affiliation[/i] figures and Mercenary-affiliation figures are friendly toward one another.
- Players cannot target friendly figures with attacks.
