CC refit/upgrade point divy Q

By Eyeless1, in Star Wars: Armada Rules Questions

I dont have the rulebook for Corelia Conflict on me right now.

Do the rules say anything about how refit/upgrade points must be divided between team members? One of our guys had a good chunk of his fleet scarred in a battle. My fleet just lost a few fighters. Can I give him some of my refit and/or upgrade points that I dont need? Or does he only ever get at most 1/3 (there are 3 people on our team) of the total points generated for the team each turn?

Points are distributed as evenly as possible, with the Grand Admiral awarding any odd point as he chooses.

There is no mechanic for trading, swapping, gifting, or stealing resource points.

House rule it. That's what my group did. Why waste points when you are figuring on the same side?

The main reason is for balance. It discourages one dominant player from feeding the other players resources. It makes the pain of losing your ships and squads really sting.

It does make it sting for sure. But it also preventseems one dominant player from just wiping out the other team completely. My campaign is just a group of 4 friends and we've had some wild games on both sides with both factions getting tabled. Rebels are ahead on points but that can change very quickly. All fleets are close to 500 points now though still even though some are bringing scarred ships to the table to compete with the activations. Either way works. We just chose to go the route of "my side earned this many points, it makes more sense to share the wealth rather than have 1 guy potentially starving while his team mate may end up with a useless large stockpile (hasn't been the case yet though as we balanced the teams fairly well I'd say)

Yup, what they said. Otherwise, there is no dealing with the law of economy.
