Say I have Gideon and a Bantha on my team. I play Single Purpose and use one of Gideon's actions to give the Bantha two movement points. It uses them and ends it's movement in spaces containing enemy figures. Can Gideon now use his second action to let the Bantha move again?
Multiple out of turn movement for massive figures during single activation
No, because a massive figure cannot move during the same activation after ending movement on other figures in that activation. So once it ended movement during Gideon's activation, it cannot move any more until a new activation begins.
End of Round counts as a single activation, for the purposes of crazy abilities like Jundland Terror and Opportunistic. It's been ruled that you cannot do something like:
1) Jundland Terror, end movement on figures
2) Ferocity with some other figure to attack something else, deal damage
3) Play Opportunistic on the Bantha to move it again
Since the Bantha already ended movement on figures in step 1 during end of round, it cannot move again during end of round.
For reference:

End of round is not an activation according to the Skirmish Guide as that falls within the 'Status Phase' which is after the 'Activation Phase'

Where has this been ruled as I cant find it in the latest FAQ?
As each one has been from a different card and different (activations of) figures, I see nothing wrong with this.
End of round is not an activation, but a massive figure ending movement on top of figures is only allowed once per each end of round (and start of round) trigger.
If it's not in FAQ2.2, then it will be in 2.3.
It has been first ruled very long time ago. I would check the FAQ thread first.
Edit: The ruling might be in this one: http://boardwars.eu/podcast-29-time-machine/ ( but read my comment about overinterpreting the ruling)
Edited by a1bertWill check the new FAQ when it is released. Apparently soon I read elsewhere.

Around 2:05:30, which brings us back to:
So, a massive figure can end end movement on top of figures once per each figure's activation - including its own, once per end of round, and once per start of round.
