Im an Illustrator and Animator in New Zealand and im working on a potential research project that incorporates the skills of illustrators and some of game and APP designers in the studio.

I am pitching an idea in March and wanted your guys feedback on the idea, i will use some of the responses in my presentation. Is it something you would download?

The idea comes from the Campaign Tracker App i have downloaded, the only one available, and its lack of visual appeal. also normally the dungeon master player controls the app in our games. i though it might be nice to create a character App for the hero players. to keep track of their gear. (usually i got them to take a messy photo of their character sheets at the end of play.) I thought they might use it to look through outside of the game, as well as the illustrations changing to fit the new equipment. i have some images below of potential ideas. Character Illustrations will be new images of the characters.

these are potential ideas. the App does not exist. Im going to pitch the idea in march to get it developed with my team.

Interesting idea, but you would have to be very careful with IP. Throwing something up on an app store with clear star wars IP is a quick way to get shut down (doubly so if you are charging).

I love the Idea.

Usually as a game master, i keep track of all the campaign data on one of the available apps. But this would be nice for the players to keep record at the end of game sessions as well.

Definitely will ask my rebel players to download this.

This looks really cool. I know the group I play with love their characters and would love something like this. Hope everything works out!

there will be no charge and the images will be re created by other artists and illustrators.. thanks for the input

Looks great, but it would be all or nothing for me. It would have to manage characters and the details of the campaign itself, or I'd never touch it no matter how pretty it is.

The problem with this app, is that it is not UPDATED to include Jabba's Realm. Also it is only for Android, I had to do some computer-fu to get it to run on a computer, then realized it was useless because it's not up to date.

thanks, this is my go to APP as well. it takes a long time to code and put together condition and effect triggers, so i know the guy who is working on it is working hard to get jabba's realm updated . I have emailed him with some suggestions and we have chatted.

I think im going to start off small. with a character tracker app first, as a full campaign app would take longer.

Yes yes yes! My rebel players would love this, and I would love not to have to spend time posting their current builds for them between sessions.
