Auto-Fire Melee Attack

By edwardavern, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG

Although I kind of like the idea of a melee attack that uses autofire rules, it might be best to use it very sparingly, and only for fun. (Because the idea of it is funny. And it might be a good laugh for your players when you describe Mr. Fighter Man saying "ATATATATATATATATATATATA!!" as he hits all of them. But the whole thing may fall flat in a mostly serious situation.

Oh, that's a good one. Was transcribing some Officer stats from the AoR book to my shortcut cards in preparation for future "Dark Forces" missions. Might have to use that one once or twice.

No I meant the Squad rules that you can find in the adventure supplement of the GM screen for AoR.

The problem is not offense it is defense.

Give your Bbeg lots of ranks of adversary high soak, high younds, strain, and some resolve. If lightsabers are involved the a bunch of parry/reflect and perhaps cortosis are appropriate. Oh yeah, find ways to add on a pile of black dice, too.

Handcrafted shield with defense 4 works wonders. *g*
