Maybe not a competitive list but these ships would give a good alpha strike and nonetheless a fun list I'd like to try. Not sure about marksmanship on Vader, can't decide between that and predator. Any comments appreciated.

You don't need an initiative bid. Upgrade Vader's Marksmanship to Expertise.

marksmanship is costing you an action. Vader needs to token up or re position because his ship is a bit crunchy.

i don't think there's much of an alpha strike here due to the range of the missiles being 1-2 so i switched to protons

try this if you're looking for fun with Tie Advanced , and really i'd change the stealth device to a engine upgrade

I like it! Especially expertise instead, that card is awesome and not that familiar with the new cards.

I just feel as though they're losing some much needed defense when you get rid of sensor jammer. Unless the general consensus on sensor jammer isn't actually that good?

I like the addition of prockets though as I didn't factor in range for the alpha strike of the list. I was just thinking 18 shots in one round would be pretty nice, assuming you get your target lock off.

The Tempest’s can Evade for their action since they don’t really need to focus or target lock due to the Accuracy Corrector. Vader can barrel roll and boost out of harms way on his own

Personally I only own 3 Tie Advanced so I would be tempted to swap one out for a naked Cutlass Squadron Pilot; TIE Punisher. Just for the heck of it.

Thanks to the killer advice I've come up with this... really just based off of Stubby's post with a different Vader. Love the guaranteed 2 hits from accuracy corrector, which frees up their action.. loved it too much to pass up.

Still out to lunch in regards to the sensor jammer... but I don't want to leave Vader too unprotected.

Sensor Jammer does offer more protection, but Vader only has 2 attacks (outside of range 1). Without Advanced Targeting Computer or something else to boost his attack output he isn’t that much of a threat. Expertise would at most change two focus results (outside of range 1) into hits. Well….that would be the same net result of an Accuracy Corrector.

If you have your Heart set on sensor jammer then you could boost his damage potential by taking Swarm Leader I suppose. That way the Tempest Squadron Pilots can Evade (not needing to target Lock or Focus due to their Accuracy Correctors) and then Vader can use those evades to increase his attack dice to 4 (again…outside of range 1)

So instead of Expertise would you instead throw on something like predator and add the ATC instead of Sensor Jammer?
