There is my first deck for your thoughts, insights, and comments. I am a long time player of AGoT and thus was trying to work around deck building theories from that game. However I still was building like I would for AGoT, so we'll see how this pans out.

Nice deck for not having the mulitples. Carefull with city gates, I have scene it deck players ;)

I like the deck, I would the forgotten cementaries though, you will want units in you quest zone anyways, besides, if you got lots of cardsand do not need the draw, you might want to have units that can be moved out of the zone and your card draw a bit. Armouries are better if you want to swap. I have scene fortresses do well in empire decks. In some respects they are better the healing, cause they mean the oppenents need to intially do more damage to actully burn you.

Vals unmaking is cheap, but less usefull then you might think, You will find them being development bait way too often, them.

I think I'll try swaping the cemeteries for the armory. You may be right on Vaul's, but I think I'll leave it in for now. I have a feeling we're going to be seeing more attachments down the road.

Played a couple of games mainly against orcs and choas and lost. I need to adjust my "gold curve" as I was drawing too many high cost cards right off the bat. Otherwise it was fun to see the look on my opponent's face when I had two city gates out and he was paying too much for some of his actions.

Hi,

I would also remove the city gates for a third Contested Village. That's a very good starter card.

Maybe you should use some dwarf cards... Keystone Forges (instead of Cementery), the support searching guy, Master Rune of Valaya. Maybe it's also a good idea to include a playset of Troll Slayers.

If you feel you have to many costy units maybe you should decrease the number of Halberdiers by one, and maybe Gustav. Drop Inflitrate! quest, it don't make much good to you.

Otherwse it seems a very fine first deck to me. :)
