So I have been super excited about the Upsilon shuttle, and have spent a few games getting this list together

The strategy is to set the Upsilon in the corner facing sideways, with ryad and omega at range two into the board, ryad gets a focus and omega gets an evade. Then I can start the game with a three forward and haveven ryad with evade, focus, and target lock, and omega with evade and target lock. So far most opponents have gone with an initial joust with ryad and omega, then they try to break at least one ship to the shuttle. By this point ryad and omega should have at least one shot off each and can trail the opponent following the shuttle.

Setting up that deep in the board is a gimmick and it telegraphs your strategy before the first planning phase. You're basically just skipping a round of maneuvering. I would drop Dormitz for Starkiller Base Pilot and give Ryad a better EPT. She doesn't need VI. Juke would be better.

While I agree, I don't always have to set them up that far forward, and it gives omega a free evade for comm relay, VI is for the set up, as it a lows me to place the shuttle at ps 6, then ryad and omega, plus I like having her at a higher ps.
